A True Story of Meeting Destiny with Shape Shifters and Time Travelers as Dream Guides

“Do you want to know?” It was 1967, I was 23 years old, when a voice startled me out of my sleep in the early hours of the morning, inviting me on a journey to explore the many levels of reality. Through the gap in the curtains and the lights of San Francisco streaming through, I could see a dark face with a mustache kissing distance from mine. “Do you want to know?” he repeated in a husky voice. I did not.
I responded to that voice ten years later when I began to keep a dream journal. Thirty years later I had a collection of stories of my cultural past, the implications of which required a formal investigation.
My research has been published as “The Contemporary Role of the Chicana Dreamer,” © 2001, and is available for ordering by email. My book, released in 2008, reveals the Aztec Dream Traditions, and their relevance to the modern Curandera/Mystic/Artist, and tells the story of my personal journey through the underground byways of my dreamscape.
